One of the few-remaining Pacific-series passenger cars, built by the the Budd Company in 1950 for Union Pacific, the car transferred to Amtrak when Amtrak formed in 1971. After serving in various roles for Amtrak, it is now used by Amtrak for special trains, inspection trips, display trains, and employee support movements. Today, it is catching a ride on the back of the California Zephyr.
