Just west of the siding of McAllister, UP 7771 crosses over Turkey Creek on a concrete trestle that is relatively new, built in 2002. On April 12, 2002, an eastbound coal train tripped a hotbox detector. Following regulations, the crew stopped the train to walk the train an examine it for a hotbox. Unknown to the crew, the car with the hotbox stopped on the wooden trestle that was located here, over Turkey Creek. The hotbox caused the trestle to catch fire and burn down! The train was still on the bridge, and multiple hoppers fell with the collapsed bridge.
