Some early morning clouds hang out as UP 4547 sits in the Cheyenne Yard. This ET44AC was delivered new from Wabtec (formerly GE) to Union Pacific in December 2025 (build number 66987). There is speculation that the unit was painted up to try to make favor with the Trump administration to help "grease the wheels" and get approval for the UP/NS merger. It is also speculated that the unit will ultimately be donated (eventually) to the Trump Presidential Library, similar to UP 4141.
