A pair of Heritage 2 C44-9Ws sit on the stub track off the mainline near the Longmont depot. These units run on a local during the week, running up and down the Front Range Sub. In the distance, you can see a train that is currently tied down on the main track just beyond the grade crossing. The power for that train is currently switching cars with the Great Western. After switching is complete, the power will pick up the train and continue north.
