I was particularly happy to get this roster shot. 20 to 30 years ago, the SD70MAC was king on BNSF coal trains. Today, at least 300 of the original 750-ish units have been sold or scrapped. And of the remaining 400 or so units, most are in long term storage. So it was great to find BNSF 8848 still working on this afternoon.
