Monday through Saturday, BNSF operates a yard job up near Utah Junction. There are quite a few companies up here that ship by rail. Right now, that yard job has a former GP30 as part of the power. BNSF 2745 is now a GP39-2R, its smaller center radiator fan removed (along with other cosmetic and "under the hood" changes). It was delivered in June 1962 to the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy. It went to Burlington Northern with that railroads creation in 1970. Later, in July 1989, it was rebuilt as a GP39E, and later as a GP39-2R under BNSF.
