Wednesday, October 17, 2007 - Yes, that's right, the last remaining unpatched Rio Grande unit on UP's roster is coming home! DRGW 5371 left Salt Lake to go to North Platte a week ago for a new turbo charger. Now that repairs are done, it is on its way back west and it just happens to be on today's MNPNY due into North Yard around 5pm. Last update showed it in Wyoming, but still east of Cheyenne. The SD40T-2 is the second of seven units, trailing behind UP 4478. Good day to come down with a sudden cold for a day!
