Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - Well, after being dropped off by the MNYNP-11 yesterday, UP 1989 (Search Photo Gallery) is currently sitting (facing north) near the depot in La Salle. It is supposidly going to head up an Operation Lifesaver Special to Fort Collins on the Fort Collins Sub.
As of last night, no passenger equipment was around in La Salle. The unit was setup in a good place for some night shots (although I couldn't out there!). Supposed to go on the OLS train sometime today or tomorrow.
