UP 1989 at Milliken Days

Monday, July 17, 2006 - Well, as it turns out, UP 1989 (Search Photo Gallery) was on an Operation Lifesaver train, but it didn't go to Fort Collins as originally expected. Turns out that it instead went to Milliken, CO for "Milliken Days". The unit was open to the public (cab tours, etc) between 4pm and 6:30pm on Saturday, July 15. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend. However, Nathan Holmes got some really nice shots on his website and Bob Sobol also snapped a few images and put them on his website as well.
After the event on Saturday, UP 1989 (Search Photo Gallery) headed back to La Salle on Sunday and by mid-afternoon on Sunday it was back in North Yard. Of course, the ultimate question now becomes, where will it head next!? If I were to put money on it, I'd bet it will wind up on the Joint Line again during the night...
