Thursday, August 17, 2006 - For anyone that might be close to the tracks between Denver and North Platte, NE, keep your eyes open for UP's MNYNP. The Silver Bronco (from the California and the Rio Grande Zephyr), which has been stored for many years in Burnham in Denver, is the last car on the NYNP on its way to North Platte. Rumor has it that it is headed for San Antonio to a new owner. Not sure why it is going through North Platte to go to San Antonio....I am stuck at work and will not be able to get any pictures. The train departed North Yard about an hour ago around 1pm.
