Wednesday, March 28, 2007 - If you have tried to visit the website anytime in the last 24 hours, you may have noticed that the website either failed to load, or loaded with some obscure search engine with a few possibly rail-related links. Domain Names on the Internet are leased for a certain period. My lease on "drgw.ws" expired without my knowledge at 12:11pm on March 27, 2007. By 1:00pm, the name had been purchased by another company. All this occurred without my knowledge.
There is nothing I can do about it at this point....so effective immediately, drgw.ws is changing its name to ColoradoRailfan.com. If nothing else, hopefully this name will be a bit easier to remember! All of my associated email address (i.e. "webmaster@drgw.ws") have changed as well (i.e. "webmaster@coloradorailfan.com").
Pictures will continue and updates will not be held back, but this will all happen under the new name from this point forward. So update those bookmarks and change those address books...and thank you for your patience and your interesting in my site. I hope it will continue for many years to come, regardless of the name!
