Five Days Chasing Former Grande Rails

Monday, June 11, 2007 - After five days spent (June 3 to June 7) on much of the former Grande, I'm exhausted! Damian (see his work in the Contributors Gallery) and I left early on June 3 and headed west.
Over the course of the five days, we covered Byers Canyon to Sagers (just east of Thompson, UT), the Craig Branch to Steamboat Springs, and the North Fork from Grand Junction to Somerset. We pitched a tent near the tracks each night and had a really fantastic time.
