Tuesday, June 26, 2007 - Today, the Ski Train will be making a rare afternoon run up to Winter Park, coming back into Denver after dark. The train has been chartered by the Train Collectors Association (TCA) during their convention which is being held in Denver.
The group will depart Denver around 3pm for an afternoon trip up to Winter Park. The group will have dinner and the train will wye and return to Denver, arriving sometime around 10pm.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the first afternoon trip for the Ski Train (westbound) since a previous charter occurred on June 19, 2003. You can see a few pictures from the run by clicking this link. Good luck if you are going out after it!
