Their pink containers certainly stand out, and it is interesting just seeing the color pink on a train! The headlight of the lead unit is lighting the way as the train is about to emerge from the west portal. Note that you can see the stacks through the Main 2 tunnel. The Grizzly Creek wildfire in Glenwood Canyon has closed UP's Glenwood Springs Sub and, as a result, the Zephyr is being detoured through Wyoming between Salt Lake City and Denver. Interestingly, this is the same train set that I rode in just six days early on a return trip from Glenwood Springs to Denver. The clouds are actually quite helpful, as this shot is taken from the north side of the rails. On a sunny day, this side of the train would be cast is shadows. The temperature is a fairly mild 50­°F.
