While waiting for the big day, the six Heritage Units (along with UP 8444) sit near the wye track at the Intermodal Facility around Midnight. Great to see how shiny they are after one to two years in active service!

Perhaps the one and only time that all six Heritage units will be in the same location at the same time. Units are elephant style in order of the disappearance of the railroad. From right to left we have MoPac (UP 1982), Western Pacific (UP 1983), M-K-T (UP 1988), Rio Grande (UP 1989), CNW (UP 1995) and Espee (UP 1996).

All six heritage units (along with UP 8444) are aligned on the south end of the wye track at UP's Intermodal facility in Salt Lake. The units are arranged by year of acquisition going from 1996 to 1982.
