An SD60M, a former Cotton Belt GP40-2 and a former Espee GP40M-2 make for a great sight. Both of the geeps were lashed up together last September, working on the West Local on the Rocky Spur! The crew will now proceed with their switching in town. UP interchanges with the short line KYLE railroad in town. With no trains called out of Denver or Sharon Springs, the local will have plenty of time to do their work. Even with all the time, the local will ultimately be tied down in town and a relief crew will take the local back to Denver the following day.
