The Denver-Provo wraps around the 180º curve, crossing underneath US-6 on Main 2. It is off of Main 2 here at Gilluly where you can find a house track. If a train had to set out a car, DS-378 could cross the train over to Main 2 (if necessary) to allow them to make a set out.

As the morning turned to afternoon, a few more clouds started to appear and as a result, I had to start playing dodge cloud a bit more often! Here, the two units leading an Intermountain Power coal empty pass by in the sunlight on Main 2 at Gilluly.

BNSF's Valmy coal load heads away from the camera on Main 1 at Gilluly. Not surprisingly, the siding at Gilluly looks pretty rusty and the ties look a bit worn. It is probably pretty infrequently that the siding is actually used these days.
