For the first time in two decades, DRGW 3006 is rolling across grade crossing as a UP special pulls it out of Burnham. Here, the unit is rolling across Shoshone Street, not too far from the Auraria Campus.

A UP special including three GP40-2s, a Rio Grande GP30, a Rio Grande Caboose, and a Rio Grande Steam Crane makes it way on the North Burnham Lead. The train is rolling back toward Main 2 at Walnut Street.

Several times each day (as needed), hostlers from North Yard transport units from North Yard to the shops at Burnham. These units may need repairs, or they may simply be due for their 90-day inspection. Here, a set of seven units is on the Burnham Lead. The units just came off of the Joint Line at Walnut Street.
