The Big Boy established protection that prevented trains from coming through on Main 2 during the stop. UP allowed spectators to walk on the rails to get pictures. After spending over 50 years on display, the team rebuilt it and converted it to run on oil. Only 25 Big Boys were built and eight remain in existence today (4004, 4005, 4006, 4012, 4014, 4017, 4018, and 4023). These beasts are 132 feet long and weighs 625 tons.
