UP 1616 departed Potash with a track warrant as far as MP 22 initially. The Cane Creek local had run south out of Brendel behind the special, and is now making its way back to Brendel to clear up for the special. Indeed, shortly after this picture, the special received a new warrant taking it up to MP 5.
