The unit was originally delivered to Southern Railway (#2795) in February 1970. Since then, it went to Norfolk Southern, and then a number of short lines before landing with Progress Rail Leasing. This particular unit was built in August 1957 and delivered to Northern Pacific. It would become BN 1913 after the BN merger in 1970, and then BNSF 1626 after the BN/SF merger in 1995. It is a transload facility operated by Wyoming Connect Railroad, a short-line railroad owned by the Genessee and Wyoming. One of the units used for switching is this PRLX (Progressive Rail Leasing) SD45T-2! The unit was delivered as SP 9225, later renumbered to SP 6845.
