Note the blade pointing toward the sky on the left side of the picture. That is a clear signal for this train, and the signal will drop (quite literally) to red as the train passes. The tracks lead over Le Veta Pass to Alamosa (and beyond). UP recently sold the line to the San Luis and Rio Grande railroad. UP now interchanges with the SLRG right here in Walsenburg.
