A very long string of military vehicles ride on the backs of flat cars on their way north. EMD 9082 and BNSF 7031 lead the train, elephant style, north through Westminster.

The paint scheme applied to the "Oakway" leasing SD60's, which came out fresh in the mid-1980's, is one of my favorite schemes. I've always been a fan of blue, so I particularly like these units. Twenty years later, their paint is still holding up pretty well for the most part! EMD 9082 is leading a northbound Military Train on the Front Range Sub the day after Thanksgiving.

EMD 9082 leads a northbound Military train north out of Utah Junction with a new track warrant. The train, loaded mostly with trucks and hummers, will make its first stop of the day at Broomfield to wait for two southbounds. UP's new Belt Flyover runs over the Front Range Sub in the background.

An SD40-2 and an Oakway SD60 cut away from the tail end of a southbound coal load. A single SD70MAC will remain on the end, controlled through DPU, on the remainer of the trip south. The other two units will proceed north on main two to Denver.
