Utah Railway's RUT611 local is preparing to leave the Provo yard and head back to Ogden where it originated yesterday. The local runs west out of Provo on Sunday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's, and east out of Ogden on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's.

A storm is moving in close to the area as a coal empty climbs up the Pleasant Valley Sub toward the Skyline Mine. Utah State Highway 96 runs right next to the tracks here.

A loaded coal train is coming off the Pleasant Valley Subdivison from the Skyline Mine. It was announced in the second half of 2003 that the Skyline Mine will be shut down in March or April of 2004.
