The equipment for Amtrak's Winter Park Express Ski Train, temporarily borrowed for a special move to Longmont, sits across Emery Street in Longmont on a bland, overcast afternoon. The train ran 1x1 north and, of course, will do so for the trip south as well. Several people who took the train north, including Colorado Governor Jared Polis, will actually take the purple bus (parking on the street above AMTK 174) back to Denver rather than returning on the train.
