Byers Canyon is not only a beautiful canyon to travel through, but it is also one of the few canyon through which the tracks and a road both travel! With the rails on the north side of the Colorado River, US-40 follows along on the south side of the river. Here, the Zephyr is seen from the slightly higher angle of the highway.
