Somewhat over powered with 1 locomotive for each empty covered hopper. I understand the logic of two units back-to-back for local service so there is no long hood forward running. But why not cut off this last unit for the day. Hopefully one or two of these locomotives were cut back to idle to save fuel.

I totally agree with you regarding the fact that it is good to have it on the rails still, even if it has been repainted. I'd rather have it still working than waiting to be tomorrows razor blades.

Well, I'm glad it's still on the rails, even if it's in yellow camo. Too bad they won't flag the old geeps, but at least it got a lightning stripe.
