The West Local kicks up some snow at Leyden as it makes a late afternoon journey westward. With the cleanup of Rocky Flats long since complete and the loss of a customer (Mesa Oil moved from their location on Chem Spur), there is only one customer left for the local to serve. The aggregate plant at the north end of the Rocky Spur. With the loss of business and decrease in rail demand, this is only the second West Local of the year! And it only has five covered hoppers.

Ah, the old RG 3128 I think.

AT least they kept three old gals together. I'm sure the crew appreciated their fast pick up and switching ability compared to something bulbous and GE-ius.
