The West Local moves quickly west on the main at Leyden in fantastic afternoon light. A blizzard the previous day left 12-16 inches of new snow in the area. UP 1349 is no stranger to this territory! This was DRGW 3128 until it was patched nearly ten years ago. Still, great to see it working in the area.

Timothy-

We actually have three (former) railroads represented here! UP 1349 was indeed Rio Grande. It was DRGW 3128 (which, for anybody that wasn't aware, you can see in the information to the right of the comments here). The second unit, UP 1418, was once SP 7667. And the third unit, UP 1396, started as SSW (Cotton Belt) 7640.
