UP 663 is a former Missouri Pacific GP38-2 (with no dynamic brakes). It has certainly seen better days, as it is absolutely covered in graffiti. More than likely, it recently came to Denver from Southern California. It and fellow UP SD40-2 are part of a yard transfer. UP brought some cars over to BNSF, and they are not preparing to head back to North Yard. Additionally, take note of the long hood of BNSF 6778, which appears to say "BSNF"!
