A Utah Railways coal load (with leased UP power on the point) is running west on the "wrong track", about to enter the Nolan Tunnels. The "wrong track" simply means the dispatcher has decided to run the train west on Main 2 instead of Main 1. Main 1 is typically used for westbounds and Main 2 for eastbounds. In CTC, however, the dispatcher can do whatever he or she pleases!

A westbound Utah Railway coal load is climing the steep 2% grade in Price River Canyon. For help, five swing helpers have been cut into the train at Martin for the 20 mile push to Colton. At Colton, the units will be cut out and return to Martin for their next assignment.

A coal empty heading for the Castle Valley Spur to load at the Savage mine. Sunlight was a rare thing on this day, and it came out at just the right time. The Price River is particularly muddy right now!

After stalling out on slick rails, the westbound Denver to Stockton train is back on the move on main one just west of the Nolan Tunnels. Note that the lead unit is an unpatched Santa Fe Warbonnet!
