Three units have been added to BNSF's Provo to Denver manifest. However, before it departs, another three units will be added to the head end. No crew is rested, and in fact a crew will not be called until 0200 (2am).

While patiently waiting for a crew to show up for BNSF's Provo-Denver, I noticed this interesting pair of units doing a little switch on the UP side of the Provo yard. A GP15-1 and C44ACM are out on Main 1 as they perform their switching duties.

Utah Railway and BNSF share a yard in Provo on the geographic west side of UP's mainline. The yard tracks are some of the only ones owned by BNSF in the entire state of Utah. Here, a Provo-Denver manifest sits on a yard track, waiting for a crew so it can depart east toward Denver.

If I am not mistaken, UTAH 6061 is the only remaining Utah Railway unit that has not been repainted in the Genesee and Wyoming orange, black, and yellow scheme. Here, it is one of four units waiting to head west on a train out of the yard at Provo.

The yard at Provo is actually pretty cool, being tucked in up against the western front of the Wasatch range. This part of the yard is shared by Utah Railway and BNSF. You can see four Utah Railway units, getting ready to be moved to be placed on a train that will depart west toward Salt Lake City and Ogden.
