Frequently when old power is retired by a Class 1, it either winds up on a smaller railroad, or it is picked up by a leasing company. Such is the case here. The train just received a track warrant between the north and south ends of Broomfield. It will hold the main to meet two northbound coal empties. It is waiting for the rail train rolling down the siding to the right. The rail train just released its warrant. This will allow the manifest to copy a new warrant from the dispatcher to proceed from the south siding switch of Broomfield all the way in to town. After reassembling their train on the main track, the local pulled into the clear to wait for the train to pass.
