Took the opportunity to grab a shot of a "Rough Road" sign that the City of Golden put up 5 minutes before I took this picture. Moving a near 200-ton engine isn't exactly kind to an asphalt road. At this point, two Hulcher Service cranes are still support the back end of the unit off the ground. Once the back end is over the panel track, they will lower it to the rails. These four sections of panel track will be laid across the road and across the existing track at the entrance of the museum (which is perpendicular to this track) in order to roll DRGW 5401 on to the property. Once this move is complete, crews will retrieve the four sections of panel track that were used earlier to cross the Farmers Canal.
