At the west end of Barbara's Gulch, an AC4400CW is "in your face" as it rounds the curve from under CO-93, toward a clear signal at the east switch of Rocky.

After the GP30, the GP60 is without a doubt my favor 4-axle unit ever produced. I really like the look of the boxy dynamic break intakes and, of course, the class spartan cab. It is good to see that UP has rebuilt (or is rebuilding) its GP60 fleet - designating them as GP60Es - so they will hopefully be in service for years to come. This GP60E is second out on UP's West Local on this day.
