This is an SD70I, which is like the SD70M, but with an EMD WhisperCab. Only 26 units were produced and all went to Canadian National. Not a bad catch for the middle of Colorado! Why? About 90 seconds before the train showed up, this who spot was covered in glorious afternoon light! Then, a big fat cloud! Oh well...this is BNSF's Denver-Provo manifest headed west. Note the grade crossing sign along the side of the track: "X/QZ" -- The "QZ" represents "Quite Zone". Trains do not use their horns at Kipling.
