About two miles away from the main track at Mounds, the Dirt Train passes through this nice S-Curve on the Sunnyside Subdivision. The train is moving at 15 MPH heading toward its destination of Banning.

No longer on the mainline, the Dirt Train is now "creeping" along at 15 MPH on the Sunnyside Subdivision. This spur used to lead to a mine near the town of Sunnyside, but its sole purpose now is to serve the Dirt Train.

Just east of the yard at Mounds (which is little more than three or four tracks used by UP for temporary storage), the Dirt Train moves along the Sunnyside Sub branch heading towards Columbia Junction.
