Two of the four units from the Potash Local have cut away from the other two units and the remainder of the train. The crew is bringing these two units down to the string of 26 loaded cars that are ready to head back to Grand Junction. The crew will use these two units to start charging the air brakes on the loaded cars (whose hand brakes are still applied) while using the other two units to spot the incoming empties. This will help the crew to be able to depart back for Grand Junction sooner.
