It ran over the Moffat at night, but had a new crew called in Denver for 7:15am. Here, the crew has the train rolling east at York Street on the Belt Industrial Lead. The train is on the four mile long Belt Industrial Lead that connects North Yard and the Moffat to the Greeley Sub. For decades, this power plant has been powered by coal. However, Xcel is nearly done converting it to run on natural gas. The two white stacks to the left are new, and part of the gas-burning portion of the plant. The stack to the right are older and part of the coal-burning portion of the plant. With the Moffat closed, the Zephyr is detouring through Wyoming, and the Belt Line is the connection from the Moffat (at North Yard) to the UP Greeley Sub.
