The train consisted of eight cars and was led by a single SD70M. Dick Davidson (who will be retiring soon) was onboard for the trip westward. The train was east of Denver on the KP at 3:45pm and by 4:45pm, it was going through Clay! Here, just before the last bit of sun disappears to shadow west Crescent, the special rounds the sweeping curve near the west end of the block.
