Never underestimate winter in Colorado! The only month in which it hasn't snowed in Denver is July, and March is actually the snowiest month. Snow is still falling hard in this Spring blizzard as the Ski Train heads west along Highway 72.

Passengers should be pleased about the snow as the last Thursday Ski Train of the 2006-2007 winter season heads west at Blue Mountain. The train is just about to hit the hotbox detector at milepost 22.6.

Got snow? You can barely see the train through the thick spring snow flakes falling at Leyden on this Thursday afternoon in March. March snow flakes in Colorado tend to be larger (and wetter) than in the winter. The Ski Train is getting close to completing its final Thursday Ski Train run of 2006-2007 season.
