The Ski Train will soon be running for its weekly Saturday trips over the summer. Why is it only nearly that time when looking at a shot of the Ski Train heading west? On this day, the Ski Train had been privately chartered for a trip to Winter Park and back, so the public won't be starting for another week. Half way through the siding at Cliff, the tracks cross over South Boulder Creek on this wooden trestle. The Kansas crosses the quick-moving water as it continues its journey west. Definitely not a major component of the picture, but the Kansas (the last car of the Ski Train) can be seen in the distance between Tolland and East Portal.
