Looks like BNSF is starting to patch the few-remaining BN units with the New Image herald on the cab. Keeping with tradition, BNSF matches the color of the unit for the patch (whereas UP just throws a yellow sticker on the cab).

One of only four remaining GP10s (at the time of the photo) was calling Denver home for awhile! The cab almost has an Alco look to it, which is one of the things that identifies the unit as a GP10 and not a low-nose GP7 or GP9.

Of the many great things about the Warbonnet paint scheme, the highly reflective silver works very well in morning light. For a time, BNSF actually painted newly received C44-9Ws in the Warbonnet scheme, before dropping it entirely in favor of the Heritage 2.
