I've always liked this perspective looking east along the straight stretch of track through Arvada. I like the lines added by the leafless trees to the left. Oberon Road is just barely visible to the right; the intersection in the distance is Oberon and Carr Street.

A westbound coal empty slowly pulls into the siding at Plain. Three units are all that are currently needed for this 6,000+ foot train headed for the mine at Energy on the Craig Branch.

I wasn't sure how I'd like this "artsy" shot taken near the grade crossing at Plain. Turns out I like it quit a bit, actually. My aperture was set at the highest f-stop possible to try to get the slowest shutter speed possible. I like the knuckles sitting on the ground near the green maintenance shed.
