This Friday the Thirteenth finds the northbound Longmont Turn tied down on the main track at Broomfield. BNSF found some nice replacement power for the Longmont Turn after the derailment earlier in the week.

The lead unit involved in the derailment of the Longmont Turn. The ditch lights appear to be broken out and the plow took a beating. No doubt there is additional damage not readily visible, but it looks pretty good.

After being rerailed, the lead unit from the Longmont Turn derailment was taken up to Broomfield by some light power. It was set out on the house track near the east end. This is a look at the front of the unit. The coupler looks a bit banged up and the plow is definitely bent up.
