It's never fun when multiple trains have to been at Broomfield, especially when those train are excessively long! It is all because of Nickel Street, which connects two parts of Broomfield together. Here, a Brownville, TX to Laurel, MT manifest has the crossing cut on the main track on the left and the Tacoma, WA to Denver, CO Q-train has the crossing cut on the siding.

Two C44-9Ws on the point of the QTACDEN prepare to shove backward to reconnect their train across Nickel Street in Broomfield. In the distance, the SD60M that was on the lead of the Longmont Turn that derailed back on June 10th still sits in the house track at Broomfield.
