A Zebra-striped full body Canadian National SD60F was included in the consist. Canadian national is the only railroad that ordered several full body units from EMD and GE after 1970. The line used to run all the way into Boulder from the east, but has since been severed. UP is currently using the north end for surplus covered hopper storage. This doublestack train is one of the longest that runs in the Denver-metro area. Originating at the Rennicks Intermodal Facility in Denver, the train is headed for Tacoma, WA. The crews of both trains talked to each other to time the meet as well as they could. The QDENTAC is 6,700 feet long and the HLAUDEN is 7,700 feet long. This is because the tracks used to be two different (main)lines, owned by different railroads. Here, the QDENTAC is on the siding, which is several feet higher than the HLAUDEN on the main. The crew on the train have received a "Box 13" on their track warrant, indicating that they can leave the north switch of the siding in the reverse position. These units may need repairs, or they may simply be due for their 90-day inspection. Here, a set of seven units is on the Burnham Lead. The units just came off of the Joint Line at Walnut Street. These are the tracks at Burnham at which the Ski Train was stored during the off season. Instead, the tracks are now filled with former Grande Luxe Express cars.
