Highball Leyden! Running right on time, the westbound Zephyr is about to cross the 80th Avenue grade crossing before knocking down a clear signal at east Leyden.

At this time of year, when the westbound Zephyr departs Denver right on time, it is almost perfectly backlit on the approach to Leyden. Taking advantage of that fact, I set up for this shot of the Zephyr on a crystal clear Monday morning. A bit of low-lying mist is hanging around the Denver-metro area.
