It is another beautiful and mild December morning in the Denver-Metro area as the westbound Zephyr, running right on time, approaches a clear signal at the east switch at Leyden.

Running on a clear signal, the Zephyr is started to accelerate again after having to slow for the grade crossing at 80th Avenue. It was reported that there were some issues with the gates and, as such, the Zephyr had to slow to 15 MPH to ensure the crossing was clear of cars.
