This SD70M is wearing the number "1616" in honor of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States. Additionally, while the paint scheme is similar to that of UP 4141, painted in honor of George W Bush, the colors on this Abraham Lincoln unit are unique. I think railfans were a bit surprised when this unit was unveiled as there was no real event that occurred that suggested an Abraham Lincoln unit was on the horizon. Regardless, I am not complaining.
